Panellists include curator Dr. Adrian Danks, Dr. Hamish Ford, UNSW, and Dan Edwards, Managing Editor, AFC Communications Branch.
TUE 20 JUNE: IS THERE A FUTURE FOR AUSTRALIAN TV DRAMA?
A panel of TV drama makers and commentators will canvass these issues.
WED 21 JUNE: A SHIFT IN PERCEPTION? HIGH DEFINITION, DIGITAL FILMMAKING AND THE AESTHETICS OF CINEMA.
Panellists include director, cinematographer and editor Ray Argall, and Ian Jones (DOP, Ten Canoes).
THU 22 JUNE: CREATIVE INDEPENDENCE AND HOW TO KEEP IT.
Panellists include Australian filmmakers Matt Zeremes (Burke and Wills), Margot Nash (Call Me Mum), and US filmmaker Andrew Bujalski (Mutual Appreciation, Funny Ha Ha).
FESTIVAL NIGHTS
FBI 94.5FM DJs mix up six sets of late-night film phonics, while jazz trio Darren Heinrich (Hammond), Steve Brien (guitar) and James Waples (drums) create the cinematic Jazz Lounge across four nights.
